This is your invitation to awaken and claim your inner king while being supported and empowered by a soulful brotherhood of men. Led by three experts in men’s work, you will be guided into penetrating and transformational group process work, ritual, spiritual practice, play, and adventures.

Retreat Leaders

Reuvain Bacal, MA, is a therapist and relationship coach in private practice specializing in men’s work and couples counseling. A pioneering leader in Colorado’s men’s community, he has started and led transformation-oriented men’s groups for 13 years and has taught Group Dynamics and Leadership at Naropa University. He is also a course leader for The Red Pill Weekend, an Authentic Man program. Reuvain helps men and couples transform their lives and their relationships by applying penetrating methods drawn from Somatic Psychology, Buddhist psychology, the work of David Deida, and shamanic sources. Reuvain facilitates fire rituals with men and couples, and is trained as a Meditation Instructor. He lives in Boulder, Colorado with his fiery wife and wild daughter.

Rick Snyder, MA, LPC, MFT Intern, is a life coach and therapist in private practice in the Bay Area, as well as a course leader for the Authentic Man Program and The Transformational Coaching and Leadership Training. He has also led adventure journeys as a guide in the Indian Himalayas and China. He is passionate about helping men discover their purpose, power, and aliveness in their careers and their relationships. Drawing upon his background in Somatic Psychology, Emotional Body Awareness, meditation, and martial arts, Rick also infuses his work with humor, providing an uplifting and potent blend of profound awareness, authenticity, and play.

Daniel Rechtschaffen, MA, MFT Intern, is a therapist in the Bay Area working with individuals, couples, and groups. He has extensive training in Gestalt Therapy, Jungian Psychology, Eco-Psychology, and various somatic therapies. He has led men’s groups at the Omega Institute, Esalen, Church St Counseling Center, as well as leading ongoing men’s groups and retreats through his private practice. He also works with Stepping Stones Project offering coming-of-age groups for teenage boys. Daniel teaches meditation at centers around the country and is a leader in the new field of teaching mindfulness practices to children.

Cost

The retreat is offered at an Early Bird rate of $1995 if you register by March 1st. After March 1st, the price increases to $2195. To reserve your space, a deposit is required.
